Errol bus driver Chris Wright carried one of his oddest passengers this week - and the traveller didn't even pay a fare.
Chris (39), who drives for Stagecoach in Perth, had just parked in Edinburgh after the journey from London when he discovered the stowaway in the luggage compartment - a 3foot-long North American water snake. Read more......

Light Relief for Strikers
Around 50 striking miners were in Dundee on Saturday to take part in a five-a-side football competition organised by the Dundee Miners' Relief Committee. Afterwards the miners were treated to an evening of traditional entertainment by their hosts. Their children enjoyed a barbecue at Templeton Woods, Dundee and an outing to Camperdown Park. Archie Knox made it a hat-trick of signings in the space of eight days when he paid out between £40,000 and £50,000 yesterday to bring Ayr United midfielder Robert Connor to Dens Park.
