A twelve hour darts marathon ended with over £360 raised for the Kidney Machine Association.
The eight strong team from the Bay-view Bar ladies’ darts tam began at 10 a.m. and were joined later in the day by another two members.
The marathon was held in the Princes Street Snooker Club and highest scores of the day were recorded by Nancy Chaplin and Moira McLaren. Read more......

A rousing reception is expected today for the R.R.S. Discovery when she returns to the waters of the Tay, 85 years after departing for Captain Scott's 1901 expedition to the Antarctic. Three escort ships - The Coral Star, the lifeboat Spirit of Tayside and the Tay pilot cutter - were due to meet Discovery and the ship carrying her home, the semi-submerged Happy Mariner, at the Fairway Bouy at the mouth of the Tay at 2.30 p.m. Read more......
