Beckons from the road to hell

One sip - divine communion
Old friends enjoy reunion
Till blind night slips past
And oblivion o'ertakes at last

Despair from empty goblet flows
As dawn caresses dewy rose
The world was once within his grasp
He reaches for a hand to clasp
