Big Top Show

The city of Dundee Ideal Homes and Exhibition was opened today by comedian Frank ("it's the way I tell 'em") Carson. His flight to Dundee Airport from the Isle of Man, where he is appearing in the summer season, was delayed and he was about an hour late.

The small audience which gathered to meet him was content to dismiss the hold-up as he regaled it with non-stop patter, jokes and funny stories. "It's lovely to be back in Dundee the home of the Forfar Bridies" he said. "I'm delighted to welcome you to this exhibition as I love doing jobs around the house.
