Macaroni, Ham and Tomato Pie 1931

Try this for dinner. It is very appetising served with fried rounds of new potatoes. Ingredients:- 4 oz macaroni, ½ lb tomatoes, 6 oz lean ham, 1 finely minced onion, 2 eggs, 1 oz grated cheese.

Put the macaroni into a pan of fast boiling water and cook until soft. Cover the bottom of a pie dish with the macaroni, slice over the tomatoes, ham and minced onion. Beat the eggs with the grated cheese and spread over the top. Cook in a hot oven for 10 minutes.
