Prune Shape 1905

Stew 1lb of prunes, half a pound of sugar and a few strips of lemon peel til tender. Take out the stones and dissolve in 6 leaves of gelatine, put in a mould to firm. Make 1 pint milk and 2 eggs into custard, let it stand in oven until firm, when cold cut into shape and set round the prunes in a glass dish.
