Saving Soap
Scraps of soap should be kept in a covered jar until an amount has accumulated to warrant time being given to their use. These are put into a granite-ware saucepan with a little water and dissolved. The softer soap thus formed is a valuable addition to washing day as it saves time in making quick suds.

To-day Saturday is the closing day of the
Palestine Exhibition in the Drill Hall and grounds.
Open to-day from 2pm till 10pm.
Admission 6d all day, children half price.
To avoid crowding in the evening an early visit is desired.
The exhibition is unique and imposing. Every phase of the fascinating East, both ancient and modern is represented and furnishes an excellent substitute for a visit to the holy land.

Church Seats Rent Notice
The holders of seats in the East South, Steeple, Cross and St. David's Churches belonging to The City of Dundee are requested to pay the rents for the half-year, commencing at Martinmas (11th November) 1907, at the office of the City Chamberlain on or before Saturday 16th day of November current. Those seats which are not paid for by that time will be considered as vacant.
