On Sunday evenings church-bells chime
Heradling bingo-time
Worshippers congregate religiously
To queue and wait

Devotees (some with spouse)
Earnestly pray to win a house
Or perhaps a single line
Oh! Lucky numbers be thou mine

May bingo-callers spark an ember of hope
Upon each humble member
