We stayed three years came back and stayed in Whitfield with my Grandmother Julie Roberts them moved to Glenrothes. Three years later we moved back to New Zealand again. I have been back twice over the years 1981 and 1992 and had the pleasure of bringing my wife and two daughters back to Fintry and Dundee. It had changed so much and it is so good to see the old Fintry photos and old Dundee photos, thanks so much. I have shown my 12 year old Grandson the photos.</p> Fincraig Street Childhood Martin (Marty) Roberts Fintry Whitfield Fri, 14 Nov 2014 12:41:58 +0000 lynne.davidson 1281 at http://bygone.dundeecity.gov.uk Fincraig Street in the Sixties http://bygone.dundeecity.gov.uk/reminiscences/fincraig-street-sixties <p><H3>Fincraig Street in the summer of the 1960s.</h3><br /> </p><P><span class='wysiwyg_imageupload image imgupl_floating_right imgupl_styles_spacing_20_black_border\n\rBlack Border'><a href="http://bygone.dundeecity.gov.uk/sites/default/files/imagecache/wysiwyg_imageupload_lightbox_preset/wysiwyg_imageupload/5/boys_5.png" rel="lightbox[wysiwyg_imageupload_inline]" title="Playing"><img src="http://bygone.dundeecity.gov.uk/sites/default/files/imagecache/medium/wysiwyg_imageupload/5/boys_5.png" alt="" title="Playing" class="imagecache wysiwyg_imageupload imgupl_styles_spacing_20_black_border\n\rBlack Border imagecache imagecache-medium" style="" width="230" height="165" /></a> <span class='image_meta'><span class='image_title'>Playing</span></span></span>The pong of the bins, nappies, endless nappies on the line in the “backies”.
