Kim Wilde Pulls in 2000

An audience of almost 2000 people greeted Kim Wilde in the Caird Hall, Dundee last night. Kim who appeared as part of her UK tour is perhaps still best known to most people as the daughter of 50's rock n roll star Marty Wilde. But there is no doubt  Kim is rapidly establishing herself as a first class performer in her own right. Her performance last night left the audience in no doubt that she can carve a career for herself on her own merits.

Kim sprang to public attention recently with hit singles like "Kids in America" and "Cambodia" and it was that type of material that went down very well with the Caird Hall audience. An impressive stage show complete with large backdrop and good lighting added to the effect of Kim and her six piece backing band.
Support were BB an English duo who also received an enthusiastic response.

Mrs Adelia Douglas had to rely on her husband to propel her conventional wheelchair. Mr Douglas found the task increasingly difficult as the years progressed.
